Why is it so revolutionary for people to realize that men have emotions? Of course we have the emotions! Deep ones; that our culture teaches us to repress, with great cost to women, the environment, and Society in general.

I understand how Jordan Peterson’s advice has made him so popular with young men. Hope there will be progress in this area as they learn to express themselves healthily.

I took an immediate dislike to Jordan Peterson. I may have judged him too quickly. I agree with a lot of the principles of tough love, but there’s a limit to the toughness before it becomes fascistic. I think there’s got to be a lot of love, a lot lot of love, while you are tightening the screws of adolescence rebelliousness. In my practice, parents who use toughness often get addicted to the power. With usually disastrous effect.
